What this mentorship is, what the certificate means, and where a coach's scope of practice ends.

01

Educational purpose only

Evidence First, Nutrition Mentorship for Fitness Coaches, provides professional-development education for coaches who already work with paying clients. All course content, live sessions, case reviews, resources and community discussion are for educational purposes only and are not medical advice, a medical diagnosis, or a substitute for consultation with a licensed physician, registered dietitian or other qualified healthcare provider.

02

Not a doctor-patient relationship

Harsh Kanwar's medical background informs the design of this curriculum, and case reviews may reference clinical concepts. Nothing in Evidence First creates a doctor-patient, dietitian-client, or other clinical relationship between Harsh Kanwar, or any guest instructor, and any member or any member's client. No individualised medical advice is given to members or to members' end clients through this programme.

03

The certificate is not a clinical licence

The Evidence First Nutritionist Certificate is awarded to members who complete the coursework, submit both required client cases, and pass the written assessment and live viva. It reflects applied competence within this mentorship's curriculum. It is not a government-recognised, clinical or legally licensed qualification, and does not entitle the holder to use a protected professional title, such as registered dietitian or clinical nutritionist, or to practise medicine, dietetics or any regulated allied-health profession.

04

Scope of practice for coaches

Members remain responsible for practising within the legal and ethical scope of a fitness or nutrition coach in their own jurisdiction. The curriculum includes guidance on recognising red flags and referring a client to a qualified medical professional, but the decision to refer, and all client-facing decisions, remain the member's own professional responsibility. Evidence First is not liable for a member's coaching decisions, referrals, or their client's health outcomes.

05

No guarantee of outcomes

Evidence First does not guarantee that any member's clients will lose weight, reverse a health condition, resolve a plateau, or achieve any specific health or fitness outcome. Individual client results depend on many factors outside the programme's control, including the client's own adherence, medical history and circumstances.

06

When to seek medical care

Nothing in this programme should be used to delay or avoid seeking medical care. Members and their clients should consult a licensed physician for any diagnosis, treatment, medication or medical emergency.
