Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Harsh Kanwar, operating Evidence First, Nutrition Mentorship for Fitness Coaches, collects, uses, stores and protects the personal data of website visitors and members in connection with our website, enrolment and Services. We are based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and this policy is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

What we collect

Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, city, and coaching-practice details provided at enrolment or in forms.
Payment data: payments are processed by a third-party payment gateway. We do not store full card numbers. We retain transaction records, amount, date and plan, for accounting and support.
Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location, collected via cookies and analytics tools.
Communications: messages sent to us by email, WhatsApp or in-community message, for support or case-review purposes.

How we use your data

To process enrolment and deliver live sessions, resources and certification.
To send transactional messages such as receipts, session reminders and renewal notices, and, where you have not opted out, marketing updates about Evidence First.
To improve the Services and understand engagement.
To comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Sharing of data

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with:

Payment processors, to complete transactions.
Email, CRM and scheduling tools used to run live sessions and communications.
Legal or regulatory authorities where required by law.

Any third party we share data with is required to protect it and use it only for the purpose we specify.

Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your membership is active, plus a reasonable period afterward for accounting, legal and support purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023, you have the right to:

Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request erasure of data no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, subject to legal retention requirements.
Withdraw consent for optional processing, such as marketing emails, at any time.
Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
Register a grievance with our Grievance Officer below and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

We aim to acknowledge grievances within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.
